Walking to the T stop yesterday evening, I watched occasional tiny flakes turn into a sky thickly filled with great fat slow-falling clumps of snow, eddying silently around the buildings and streetlights. "Ah," I found myself sighing, "the miracle of snow!"
A moment later, I noticed that my jacket was unzipped, my hands bare, and yet I didn't feel cold. "Ah," I realized, "the miracle of bourbon."
