Is there a parental equivalent of pussy-whipped? The best Spike and I could come up with was the wussy 'indulgent.' Surely we can do better than that.

My comments form now uses Markdown formatting syntax EXCLUSIVELY. If you use HTML in your comments (or indeed <pointy brackets> for any reason at all) you will be assumed to be a spambot, and your entire comment will be consigned to the Great Howling Internet Void. If you want to get fancy, have a look at the cheatsheet or the full description. Otherwise just type away.
comment by Arun Sannuti:
Fawning? Which direction did you mean? (Are the parents fawning on the children, or vice versa?)
comment by Jeff:
The subject-object relation usually goes the other direction, and we use "spoiled".
comment by Sebbo:
I considered thosep possibilities. The problem is that they're too broad. 'Whipped' describes not just a state of affairs, but a process. Someone so described is implied to have once had a will that has now been broken. There are a great many reasons people spoil their children, an the child having beaten the parent into shape is a particular one that (IMHO) deserves a particular term.

"Brat-punked" pretty well describes the operant conditioning process. The little evildoers are remorseless.

Ooh! I like it! That's nasty. A phrase that was just made to be spat from between clenched teeth
